THE 5-DAY DETOX YOUR TO-DO LIST CHALLENGE · STARTS MONDAY, JUNE 29 · INSIDE PEOPLE SKILLZ

Your to-do list isn't a discipline problem.

It may be full of unfinished decisions, avoided conversations, outdated commitments, and promises you never officially closed.

They don’t disappear when you ignore them.

They wait — and they drain your time, energy, and peace.

In five days, we’ll find them, sort them, and start closing what no longer belongs.

You’ll walk away knowing what actually needs your attention,

what can wait, what needs a conversation, and what you can finally release.

Here's what I've noticed.

Our lists just grow and grow. And if we don't regularly detox them, they start taking up space we didn't agree to give them. Your list interrupts your sleep. Your conversations. Your ability to just be present in the room you're standing in.

Every item you haven't dealt with does three quiet things:

— It steals your time.

— It drains your energy.

— It leaves you feeling like you're trying to do the impossible.

That's not a great way to live. It feels more like survival than living. And most of us were never told there was anything to do about it.

Here's the part no one tells you: the weight isn't the length of the list. It's the open loops on it — the things unfinished, undecided, or quietly outdated, that you've never officially started, finished, or let go of.

They don't disappear when you ignore them. They wait. And they cost you the whole time.

You can't close what you can't see. In five days, we’ll see what’s actually open — and begin closing what doesn’t belong.

WHAT WE'LL DO

Day 1 — Get it all out of your head. Two lists, business and personal.

Everything you've told yourself or someone else you'd do. We start by emptying the mental shelf.

Day 2 — Now, Later, or Never. An honest pass through every item. No maybe.

Just a truthful yes or no — and the relief that starts the moment you stop pretending.

Day 3 — The Clean Release. The "nevers" that were really promises to yourself.

You'll learn to let yourself off the hook, out loud, and feel what happens when you do.

Day 4 — The accountable conversation. The "nevers" that involve other people.

You'll learn how to clean them up in a way that protects the relationship and frees you both.

Day 5 — Keep it clean. A simple, repeatable system so the list never runs you again

— plus one small shift that turns your "have-to-do" list into something lighter.

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

  • Two cleaned-up lists — business and personal — pared down to what actually matters

  • A repeatable weekly system to keep them clean

  • The open loops that have been draining you, closed

  • More time, more energy, and a quieter mind

  • The words to have the conversations you've been avoiding

WHO IT'S FOR

This is for you if your list is full, but your real exhaustion is coming from what’s unfinished underneath it.

Parents holding it together. Anyone whose list has quietly grown longer than their week — and who's tired of carrying it.

You don't need a system, an app, or more discipline.

You need to see what's really on your plate, and decide what stays.

This is not a productivity bootcamp.

This is not about becoming more disciplined, adding more pressure, or building a complicated system you won’t use.

This is for clearing what’s unfinished so your list gets honest again.

ABOUT ROBIN

I'm Robin Quinn Keehn — a Human Dynamics Specialist, certified mediator, and a teacher of more than thirty years. I spent years running a music and dance studio with hundreds of families coming through the doors, raising my own kids, and coaching entrepreneurs. The whole time, I was learning the same lesson from a thousand directions: what wears us down usually isn't the big thing. It's the small things we never finished, never said, and never decided.

This challenge is the heart of my work and the heart of my book, Stop Stealing From Yourself.

I’d be honored to help you clear what’s been quietly taking up space.

When the five days are over, and you want to go deeper, my book Stop Stealing From Yourself ($17.99) walks you all the way through closing the loops in every corner of your life.

But that's for later.

This week — workbook included — is complete on its own.

You don't have to carry all of it. Let's clear the list.

Do I need the book?

No. The challenge stands on its own. The book is there if you want to go further afterward.

What if my list includes emotional or relational things, not just tasks?

Yes. That’s exactly why this challenge exists. Many open loops are not tasks. They are decisions, conversations, commitments, expectations, or agreements that need to be clarified, closed, renegotiated, or released.
